[Hmm. Family Guy’s original FOX pilot pitch released.]

People were looking forward to seeing this at last.
This was near top of the list for plenty ‘lost media’ types, and mind you that approximately 7 minutes of this 16 minute cartoon pilot was already shown in DVD special features.
Finally seeing it... the main thing that really wowed me would be the alternative fallout from Peter & Brian on the blimp/hot air balloon, plus, the old timey video Judge Blackman showed that you just know ONLY MacFarlane wanted kept in.
*Not to mention, they couldn’t get the royalties for Kool Aid Man here, so they had to roll with a shitty Butch Hartman voiced Mr. Weed gag*
The shoddy animation, including the old voices are still appreciated in my eyes, but I could deduct easily that Lois was better in the finalized product. That’s really what held a lot of the pilot together. That Lois wasn’t ‘naggy’ in the way plenty would reduce Marge, but Lois would also take no shit from the dope who got wasted at a stag party and immediately stole from the US tax payers afterward.
I was honestly expecting a bit more from this, but was more amazed by the Boondocks pilot reveal.
This was also exposed within just days of the FLASH Drawn Together pilot dropping online.

I hated Death Has A Shadow. I saw it the night it premiered after the Superbowl and was utterly underwhelmed.
The homelessness black and white video you mentioned is funny and is funnier than anything left in the aired Pilot.
