[Cool Hand Lois]

When I read the guide I immediately called bullshit on Lois masturbating for the first time. This is a character put in overt sexual gags for twenty years. You made her a porn star in one episode, she’d fuck anything... but she never put her hand down the pantry? Give me a break.

Maybe that’s the joke I guess, only the explanation they gave was hardly anything. The character’s often fetishized, which is why the episode was written to begin with.


So... her masturbating was the first “we went there” for this plot.

The double “we went there” for the plot was that discovering masturbation, in turn, made Lois leave Peter for Bonnie.

And it’s just mindless dialogue. One of the startup jokes for The Cleveland Show pilot was Lois & Bonnie making out. Something that was vaguely “heh” for a few seconds stretched out into a 20 minute episode for shock value... and they’re just talking.

But oh boy, barrel of laughs... Peter & Joe gay sex scene. Isn’t it hilarious seeing this happen for like the 12th fucking time already?
