RIP George Lowe
Mar. 4th, 2025 10:37 am I would’ve expected the news to crush me, but it hasn’t. Could be the hangover talking. Could be that it was on the corner of your mind infrequently that he was unwell and not having the best time.
Every positive comment or eulogy was said about George as he lived. What he presented himself as at cons and with Williams Street was his authentic self. No one else existed with the level of sincerity as he did. There comes a point where acknowledging the truth of him revolutionizing comedy or whatever stops being necessary. I’m not sad for Space Ghost, and I’m not even really thinking about Space Ghost. I’m hungover and accepting that a wonderful guy is just a positive memory now, and that’s it.
