These episodes are when the show starts feeling like the original show.

Hank being so eager to do handy work in episode 4 made me thinking they’d go the a-doy route with him being too old and winded. Any other show would’ve gone for precisely that. But no. Hank got a two star review from customers for his bad social skills.

For both Hank & Bobby, the jokes for episode 4 flew fairly well.

What I can say for Bobby is that I love them pulling for a Bobby & Connie back together fling... only for them to rightly trample that so the alley kids (Bobby, Connie, Joseph) could be friends again. The kind and proper creative move that spared us all from more needless bullshit. Those kids deserve that friendship more.

Episode 5 providing a revelation very early on that Hank’s loved soccer since Saudi Arabia. That revelation alone was more fun and interesting than wearing out the already endless propane material.

The car salesman that swindled Bobby donned the Buck Strickland voice. Quite frankly, it’s a little bizarre for no actual mention of Buck Strickland to be made even 5 episodes into this thing. Maybe bad blood took place? Buck was a shit boss.

Got a hearty laugh from Peggy saying she’d never eat anything from Bill’s house. She’s having her moments with this, but golly did she get dumber.

People are loving Joseph in the rehash, and I gotta agree.

I mean... I get why he still doesn’t know about John Redcorn. Because, funny. It’s still a bummer for me because him being an adult would be the perfect time for that bombshell to be placed on him. When he was a kid, yeah. It was the perfect call to never fuck up his mind with any of that stuff.

At least Bobby cements that Redcorn & Joseph will be spending more time together with the horse. And with Joss being gone, I’m fine with this being the quick safe resolution. Perhaps to make both sides happy.

I love reading these reviews but I'm still not going to watch the show.
