Episode 6 just sucked. Both plots.

Having seen episode 8 also, I can’t really pick at why they chose not to reveal the open relationship stuff when it was most convenient a couple shows ago. I guess you’re not supposed to look at it as friction between Bobby & Connie, instead just what Connie’s dealing with personally.

Bobby & Connie are not a Fry & Leela to me. The show doesn’t deny they had something in the past, but if the show says that they should be friends then just fucking drop it.

I hated the Bill plot for episode 6 to an equal or maybe more extent on some capacity. The episode after ended with him nonchalantly burning his wedding photos of Lenore. Where’s the satisfaction to be had with that when he’s lying and saying Peggy’s his wife? The photoshops of Peggy that he showed Hank weren’t even funny in a “ha-ha that’s sad and creepy” way. Peggy immediately wanting to stroke her ego with the fabricated lies made it more lame.

I’m blanking out on what to really say on episode 7. They had a good death gag. Willow wasn’t too bad of a character if she’s not already gone, even if she took a dump on Jerry Jones’ desk.

And of course, the Hardwick tribute was nice. I guess that clears his role. Dale’s in Huss hands now.

Kahn & Minh divorcing is a great change to the series.

I’ll be the one to say... Kahn & Minh divorcing is a better change than replacing Kahn’s voice, rather than just doing the proper thing of silently writing him away.

It took 8 episodes of this for you to even see Kahn. They’ve been divorced for two years, per what the episode tells you. So, you get a coherent explanation as to why Minh’s shown up more by herself, and you basically know by this point that Kahn isn’t needed.

The two were funny in the original show, but the divorce is the least surprising and most deserved. They were dicks. The Hills could’ve spent the entire celebration gloating if they wanted to.

Normally I’d say marriage is a sham anyway, but for the sake of Connie’s parents eating shit? Eh.

The old family photo was almost sweet. And then he closed the garage door.

What was sweeter was Peggy assuring Connie that both Hills and Souphanousinphones strived at the kids turning out okay. I don’t think Peggy’s said anything wiser than what she said to make Cotton fuck off into death.
