I never know how to respond to news like this. We know OJ Simpson was a monster, but I am well aware the reason he was acquitted was because the cops framed him. He was guilty as hell and they planted evidence that wound up destroying the prosecution's case.
OJ Simpson is both a cautionary tale that famous people are above the law, and one that even GUILTY black men get the shaft by the legal system. Nobody got out of that trial looking good.
The trial was the biggest laughing stock of the country. I thought maybe he would die in a cell when they finally did book him, but no. He got out just in time to make creepy Twitter videos.
